The next stage is to talk to your key importers and prepare an annual activity plan for each of your key markets. This plan will be very specific both in time schedules and activities and will be fully discussed and agreed or amended depending on the client reaction before implementation begins.
Unless we have been asked to work on a specific project, agreements are for twelve months, paid on a monthly retainer basis. Payment of fees is monthly by direct payment into our bank account and we expect the client to pay bank charges for both paying and receiving banks.
When this stage is reached, a legal contract will be prepared by us for signature by both parties. The first month’s fee is payable on signature and thereafter payable on the first of each subsequent month in advance.
The fee includes all consultations, reports and travelling to and from an agreed number of client meetings within France. Where travel is required outside France for specific meetings or to attend events, these costs together with any hotel accommodation that is required, will be charged separately. An estimate of these costs can be given if required.
Production, print and distribution costs of any specific publicity material will be quoted for in advance and charged separately.
The client will be kept informed, normally by monthly reporting, of what has been achieved. eg. press cuttings.
During the tenth month of an annual agreement we will discuss with the client whether they would like to continue beyond the initial year and if so we will reach agreement before the end of the eleventh month so that continuity can be maintained.
